Yes, you read that right. We asked the Governor to buy renewable energy credits as a symbolic gesture that he was leading the Commonwealth towards a future that includes an increased emphasis on clean energy, but he won’t do it.

From the launch of his campaign until now, Governor McDonnell has touted his pursuit of a comprehensive energy plan for Virginia, including both fossil fuel and clean energy sources. Yet his action on this comprehensive approach has been a little lopsided. The Governor has been relentless in his pursuit of offshore drilling, not even allowing the worst oil spill in US history to waiver his support.
